Who I am

I am a psychologist specialising in health psychology. I qualified as a Mindfulness Instructor with Fabio Giommi and Antonella Cammellato, AIM – the Italian Association for Mindfulness – and the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. I have also studied Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness and Level 1 Compassion Focused Therapy.

I lead Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindfulness-Based Cancer Recovery (MBCT-Ca) and Interpersonal Mindfulness (IMP) programmes, as well as programmes developed with a colleague, including ‘Mindfulness Meditation & Polyvagal Theory’. I am particularly drawn to meditative dialogue practices. I have explored koan practice through Awareness Intensives and, for many years, Interpersonal Mindfulness through Insight Dialogue retreats, a contemplative practice that I facilitate.

I explored the practice of Inquiry through ‘The Dimensions of Being’ programme with the Integral Being Institute and through the Ridhwan School of A. H. Almaas, where I have been a student since 2018. I am also a Craniosacral Biodynamics practitioner and teacher. For over 35 years I have worked with wellbeing, natural health disciplines and the development of awareness.
