Deepening
body awareness
The body as travel companion: senses, interception and deep listening to enter into relationship with ourselves.

The body, our traveling companion
We experience ourselves and the world through an intimate travelling companion: the body, with its senses — sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch and, in the Eastern tradition, the mind. Bodily experience and our orientation in space underpin mental activity and are closely connected to our emotions.
Interception and choices
Interception is the ability of the nervous system to hear, interpret and integrate information from within the body. Even without our awareness, the body contributes to the choices we make.
Greater perceptive capacity of the body is associated with higher levels of well-being and can favor choices more tuned with our deep values, rather than conditioned by the outside.
A portal to the thin dimensions
The body's awareness is also a portal to the subtle dimensions: the invisible energetic layers that are part of the human being beyond the physical body.
Getting in touch and listening
Body awareness can be developed by entering into relationship with the body and learning to listen to it. Not because it tells us what to do, but to get out of the dynamics of the mind and create space, so that something new and authentic can emerge spontaneously.
